NFL Picks - Week 10 (Sunday Edition)

So, Thursday didn't go too well for me. Carson Palmer made me look like a fool and the Chargers ended up embarrassing themselves on semi-national TV. I had a feeling this week was going to get out of hand for me. Let's just hope the trend doesn't continue.

(Winners in bold.)

Cardinals at Eagles

Philly's dream season is pretty much over. No matter how many games they win for the rest of the year, this is going to go down as a disappointment. On the other side, Patrick Petersen is throwing his hat in the ring for Rookie of the Year. One player can't bring a win to 'Zona, though.

Bills at Dallas

The Bills haven't looked good lately. The fairy dust that carried them to that magical start must have gotten washed away. Still, Dallas seems to make too many mistakes to make them a consistent threat.

Broncos at Chiefs

See what I mean? All of these games seem to be so ridiculously even. The Tim Tebow roller coaster is headed down this week. Should still be an interesting game to watch (if I could).

Jaguars at Colts

For the Colts, if not now, then when? Easy. Not now.

Steelers at Bengals

The Steelers NEED this win to have any hopes of stealing a playoff spot. Maybe not NEED since the NFL schedule makers have these two teams playing again in two weeks. Still, it's important and the Bengals have yet to be really tested.

Saints at Falcons

Word on the street is Drew Brees throws too many picks. On my block, Brees gives you more chances to win than 90% of the quarterbacks in the league. On turf, this offense is going to be hard to stop.

Titans at Panthers

It's hard not to pull for Cam Newton. Don't be surprised if he pulls this one out.

Texans at Buccaneers

I hate to say I told you so, but I mentioned at the beginning of the season I wasn't a believer in Tampa. At least I can get something right these days.

Rams at Browns

Again, the Browns are a mess and it's very hard not to blame the Madden curse. I'm not sure if i predicted his downfall in print, but trust me, I saw that coming, too. Still, the Rams aren't exactly world-beaters, either.

Redskins at Miami

Part of me wants to pick against the 'Skins just to cap off their epic fail. But the Dolphins were on the road to a 0-16 season; the glass is far from half-full.

Ravens at Seahawks

This is the fan in me speaking, but losing to Tavaris Jackson (and/or Charlie Whitehurst) is something that elite teams don't do.

Lions at Bears

Chicago looked impressive in their Monday night win and the Lions feel like they have taken a couple of steps back since their run-in with the 49ers. I think the Bears are better suited to play outside than Detroit is, at this point.

Giants at 49ers

I'm convinced. I doubted the Niners from the start, but they seem to have it all figured out at the moment (even with Alex Smith as starting quarterback). Must be that Harbaugh magic.

Patriots at Jets

New England is taking on water, right now. They can't run, Tom Brady can't find his receivers, and the defense is porous (at best). My faith is shaken. Ravens Lite takes this one.

Vikings at Packers

Do I even need to explain why?

There we go; this could end up being the roughest week of the season for me and other teams.

Last Week: 8-6
Season: 87-44 (including OAK-SD)
