NFL Picks - Week 11
So Tebow is making us all look like fools. At least I'm not alone. Again, I hope this week treats me better.
(Winners in bold.)
Panthers at Lions
Oh how the mighty have fallen. We were talking about the Lions possibly challenging the Packers in the NFC North not too long ago. Now they MIGHT be able to make the playoffs. It all starts with beating the Panthers, though.
Raiders at Vikings
I remember when the NFL world was buzzing about the new-look Vikes with McNabb running the show. Chalk this up to a lost season. At least they got a look at the young talent.
Cowboys at Redskins
The Skins' are showing their real colors now. And it ain't red.
Bills at Dolphins
The Jets loss really helps the struggling Bills. They don't want to fall too far back in the division. Even though Miami is riding a two-game winning streak, the Fins will have to come back to Earth eventually.
Jaguars at Browns
Yuck. I want to pick the Browns, but...yuck.
Bengals at Ravens
My team is on shaky ground and if it weren't for the fact that the Ravens were at home this week, it may go in the opposite direction.
Buccaneers at Packers
I said it from the get-go that the Bucs were horribly overrated. Losing to a team that might go 16-0 doesn't prove it necessarily, but...I did say it.
Seahawks at Rams
I've got to give it to the Seahawks. They have proves that they CAN beat a good team. So it should be a breeze to beat a horrible one.
Cardinals at 49ers
49ers are on a roll. I don't think John Skelton can knock them off at this point.
Titans at Falcons
It'll seem like I'm defending the Ravens, but the Titans were looking like a force before Kenny Britt went down (the week after Tennessee beat Baltimore). By the way, Britt is still out.
Chargers at Bears
It's already bad enough that Philip Rivers is having his worst season as a professional, but having to leave sunny San Diego for Chicago will not bode well for the Bolts.
Eagles at Giants
If I had written this post a few hours earlier, I would have missed the news that Mike Vick would not be available for this contest. This could have been my upset pick for the week. But I will NEVER put any confidence in Vince Young...
Chiefs at Patriots
...or Tyler Palko.
Still have a ways to go, but last week killed me.
Last Week: 7-8
Season: 94-52 (including NYJ-DEN)
