NFL Picks - Wildcard Playoffs

I said it once and I'll say it again. I've never been so happy to NOT be watching the Ravens play. First round bye makes every fan happy. So I'll make the picks and actually feel relaxed this weekend.

(Winners in bold)

Bengals at Texans

The big story is the the rookie quarterback matchup. Andy Dalton vs. T.J. Yates doesn't have the biggest effect on this game in my opinion. To me, it all comes down to the running game. If Cedric Benson can outrush Adrian Foster (and Ben Tate), Cincy walks away with a win. I think that happens.

Lions at Saints

Drew Brees has been there and done that. Home field only seals the deal.

Falcons at Giants

I have seen precisely zero minutes of Falcons football this season. I can't say that's good or bad, but I think it's more telling that I haven't wanted to. Nothing to inspire watching football means there must not be much to see. Not a good sign.

Broncos at Steelers

I want Tebow to have one more magical game, but I don't see it happening. Half-effort Pittsburgh is enough to kill the Denver season.

The season didn't turn out too bad for me. I'll let the numbers tell the story.

Last Week: 10-6
Season Total: Alot to a little. Next season, I'll pick against the spread; see if I can make some money.
